This unique system has a list of remote experiments and virtual tools on various subjects of Signals, Communications and Microwaves. This system is intended to serve as a remote/virtual environment (self learning system with no limitation on time or location for the learner) on basics of signal analysis, communications fundamentals and microwaves. An improved user interface along with extensions to the experimental content have been under development.

  • At Atilim University, the following curriculum courses use this system
    • EE 301 Communication Systems
    • EE 303 Signals and Systems
    • EE 310 RF and Microwave Engineering
    • EE 401 Digital Communications
    • EE 402 Wireless Communications
    • EE 404 Radar Systems
    • EE 405 Antennas and Propagation

about ERRL system?

European Remote Radio Laboratory” (ERRL) system has been developed by the support of European Commission(EC), Lifelong Learning Programme(LLP). The system has been operational since 2007. It is intended to provide distance access to experiments involving high technology laboratory equipment via Internet. Remote users can access to the system to perform web-based real experiments remotely (7/24) at any place using their computers.
The ERRL system aims to furnish the qualifications, desired by industry, for a wide group that includes technicians, engineering students and engineers in Europe. The ERRL system is physically located at Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of Atilim university, Ankara, Turkey.
